Water heater drop in heat?

I have a Bradford White 75 gal. water heater less than two years old. It was fine for about a year, then the water heat dropped. Now you need much more hot water at the sink and showers to get acceptable temp. I see no thermostat on the water heater. Any ideas why this happened?

Are you saying that there is no adjustment at all? Their website says there is.

I took a panel off today and found it. I turned it up but still wonder why the temp dropped.

How many elements does the heater have?If it's two then you could have an element and/or a thermostat that has gone bad or isn't working properly.

Often,especially with a two element heater,when the water's temperature suddenly drops and stays at a constantly lower level it's because one of these has malfunctioned.

If this heater was working fine before and now isn't for no apparent reason I'm not sure adjustments will help you and suggest you look at these parts.

Couldn't find that exact model, but I came close. This is a gas unit, right? You may have a buildup of sediment and minerals on the bottom of the tank. I think this may cause that kind of problem.

If you have a water softener, I don't think thats normally an issue.

You may want to try flushing it if you haven't been doing that regularly
