Angry low pressure

OK.. Electric Water Heater ( AO Smith )... I lost hot water pressure on the kitchen sink, then lost it on the master bath shower & sink ( kitchen is on opposite end of house from mstr bath ), HOWEVER hot pressure in rest of house is OK.. Water Heater is approx 8 yrs. old.. is this just a clog somewhere in the lines at opposite ends of house ? Is it problem with heater itself ? Any way to test without calling plumber out ??? Any help is appreciated...
