Unhappy Possible to dye old asphalt tile?

Hi!
Does anyone have any experience using dye on old asphalt tile? It's under all of my carpets, which are thrashed and need to be removed. I can't afford new carpet or floors. The old tiles would look good (in a hospitalish sort of way) if polished but the colors are a horror, and each room has different colors, stemming from dark green to pale blue, all marbled looking.
I'd be grateful for any advice. If not dye, then an alternative, practically free way to fix my floors??
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! I know of no way of dyeing tiles. Removal and replacement is the only recourse. Polishing them and living with the colors is the cheapest way out.
