Flickering Lights - Cause?????
I have a ranch style home with a semi-finished basement. We have just recently noticed that the lights have been flickering in the kitchen and in the basement. These lights are on 4 seperate breakers. The TV and other appliances don't seem to be affected by whatever it is that is causing this. What would cause this to happen?

Your the third one this week. must be the cold weather.
Something that pulls a lot of power can cause flickering, if the item is going bad.
Is this a sub panel that supply's the 4 circuits.
More then likely its a loose connection any where from the pole to the main panel.
I would call the power company and have them check lines from the pole to the main panel.
Most will do this for free.
This link shows other problems with a bad connection.
