Lost remote garage opener !

We lost both of our remote garage openers ! Can we get replacements so we don't have to replace the whole unit ? And do we have to program the new remotes ? We've never done this so we are clueless. Our garage opener is a LiftMaster 1/3 HP. Thank you.

Yes easily done...you will need the actual model number of the opener. Any Liftmaster dealer will have them or you can order online from any number of dealers in remotes. The programming instructions will come with them, or the seller can provide them. You may be surprised that 2 new remotes could be about half the price of a new opener that incl 2 remotes and a ext keypad.

If the opener is old enough to not have the safety eyes, it should be replaced.
