Toro 524 wont go into gear

I have a Toro 524 model 38040, and the other day it stopped moving. I can shift it into any of the gears, but it doesnt do anything. What could it be? Thanks, Dan

could be a couple of things.
1). worn or loose belt
2). worn friction drive disc
3). worn wheel axle bushings
To check for worn wheel axle bushings, lift & hold the wheels off the ground(put a block or stands under the lower pan) . Push up on the tires. If the whole axle moves up, you need to replace the axle bushings.
