Toro 2400 Snowblower Problem

I have a Toro 2400 that will start with no problems and will run for a short bit of time before it dies. After it dies I will thry to restart it but the recoil pull start is impossible to pull out. After it cools down a bit it will alow me to pull the recoil and it will start again but repeats the same process. Any ideas?

Have you been mixing the proper oil to fuel ratio? It sounds like the engine could be seizing = too little oil in the mix. Another possibility would be the compression release, but since it starts well the first time, then dies, I would check the fuel/oil mix.
