How to place wrap under bottom window nailing fin

As I've stated in previous posts, I'm preparing to re-side the house with hardie siding.

The old siding is off, revealing the old felt paper underneath, which is in remarkably good condition. As soon as I've got some little things here and there taken care of, I'll be wrapping the house with 1/4" P-2000 insulation, and taping the seams (do you tape the top and bottom, as well?). How to install this around the windows is my question:

I'll lay the P-2000 over the side nailing fins, and over the drip cap flashing on top of the Pella windows (originally installed in 1990), and then use flashing tape to tape the sides (nailing fin to P-2000) and top - over the flashing, but under the P-2000. I've seen where typically in a window install, the bottom nailing fin only has the sill flashing under it, and never any flashing tape over it.

When you're doing a re-side project like this, do you pull the nails from the bottom nailing fin, and tuck the P-2000 under the fin, then re-nail the fin - and then not tape the bottom fin? I realize that it would probably be better to pull the windows and properly flash the sill, but that's going to be an awful lot of work.

I guess for my question for any contractors out there - what would you recommend to a customer if you were doing the project stated above for hire?

Thanks!
