hotel rate change

Booked 4 nights at a hotel in boston for a total of like $369. today i did a test rev to check prices and noticed the price went sky high. instead of being like 89 a night its not 149 a night. so the new total would be 670.20. my rev still shows 369 so im wondering will i get charged the new price or will they honer the old price. someone said that once you booked your price is locked in is that true.

If you booked at that rate, then that is the rate you will pay. I have never had a place try to up my rate.

I agree! My wife, who loves mrytle beach, usually books our room in the winter/spring for whatever date in the summer. Because she books early, the price is almost always cheaper than it would be if you waited un til the last minute.
