Short-term lodging in New York City
My wife and I will be spending two weeks in New York City this Fall (our first visit). It looks like renting an apartment with a kitchen for those two weeks will be less expensive, and more comfortable, than a hotel.

Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with this lodging alternative? Recommendations?
