Misty foggy sprinkler heads

I have seen in parks where they need to water a small area of shrubs they have this sprinkler nozzle that lets out a misty foggy spray, is this a special nozzle that is very expensive and only available for commercial applications? I didn't see it at Home Depot so may be it's not a popular item. I have an area this may be a perfect application for.

Thanks.

What you are seeing in parks is a pop up mister on an inground irrigation system. There are portable misting systems available.

Misting Systems, Water Sprinklers, & Mist and Irrigation Supplies from ACF Greenhouses

There are also nozzles for water hose that can be adjusted to mist. Check your local hardware store.

I use the same kind of misters/sprayersthat you are looking for. I found them at the hardware store. They work great for small spaces.

Heres a pic.

Is this nozzle a 1/2" female that screws on to a 1/2" threaded end? What brand is it?

Its often called Xerigation. The pipe looks simlar to Toro Hydraulic tube but they are different so do not buy the wrong stuff.

Before you go and get this I would ask if you use a dirty water supply such as a stagnant lake or heavy deposits of iron. If you use city water then no problem or a clean lake, but the other two can gum these up a lot.

To attatch them to existing pipe is pretty easy but finding a close pipe can be difficult. You should be able to find these things in a local hardware store but I have never looked for them so I cannot confirm that.

I got my############# from the internet and it works very fine for my patio. I am enjoying to stay in the patio even on hot summer days.
