kenmore stacked washer dryer

98575120 electric kenmore stacked washer and dryer is not putting out any heat it tumbles and all cycles work. what to check first and how please help i think the heating element went but don't know how to check it also where would it be located.

take the rear panel off the back of the dryer. turn the dryer on high heat and use your voltmeter to find the component that has 240V across it. thats the bad part. most likely its the element or the thermal fuse
