Install Help for HE360A on a Nordyne

This is my first humidifier install. I have a 2320 sq. ft. home all laminate wood flooring in Tennessee. Before I start cutting I just wanted to make sure I had the layout the best as possible. A few concerns of mine:

Can I just cut and peel the insulation sleeve where it covers all my template openings?
Am I going to hit anything where I am cutting for my Humidifier?
The sail switch is in an okay position but the humidistat is on a cylindrical return tube. Will I still be able to form a seal when I mount the humidistat on this return or should I seek a better location?

Here are a few pics: Overall layout, humidifier location, humidistat location, sail switch location.

Yes, you are OK with that lay out. I would do a dry fit of the unit itself up on the supply duct to see if the lines, and PVC pieps clears it.

No, you are in the clear. The A/C oil is in the box below.

I would put the humidistat in the duct above the round return drop.

Sail switch, you may have a good chance not not be needing that.. We could wire it to the furnace, but what is the model # of the furnace?

A couple of things caught my eyes, and how old is this furnace?

-I see there is no pipe going outside for the burners, was there one or not?

-The Exhaust pipe is done wrong, and I'd strongly suggest on getting that fixed.
