Simon 3 - X10 Appliance Module setup questions

My X10 appliance modules are giving me fits. One module is A2 activated by Sensor 4 back door. The other is A4 activated by Sensor 5 garage door. I have incandescent lights plugged into the 2 X10 modules. Simon 3 Option 83 X10 /RF Light Control is OFF.

1. Manual lamp control - push Lights On once and #2 and A2 goes on, and push Lights Off twice and it goes off. Same for A4, it works OK. Push Sensor Activated Lights and open the doors and the correct X10 turns the light on. But they don't work for All Lights On by pressing Lights On twice. What's the matter here?

2. X10 modules don't stay on to alarm condition - I arm the doors/windows only and push the Sensor Activated Lights button and open either or both doors - panel says Sensor 4 and 5 both triggered alarms. The X10 modules and lights are turned on 4 seconds after the door is opened - but only stay on for 1/2 second and then go off. Aren't they supposed to flash or stay on? What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks

Also, I have those 2 doors configured as Grp 13 as I wanted an immediate alarm - no delay.

1...X-10 can be finicky, it's not an exact science. It's not a panel problem, it's an x-10 issue. Phase issues, current spikes, large appliances on the same circuit, etc...

2...See #1...
