Replace Battery Honeywell Ademco Vista-20P

I have a Honeywell Ademco Vista-20P Alarm. The word "BAT" is being displayed on my keypad. How do I change the battery?

Thanks,
Sara

hi in the main panel box you will see the battery just remove the red and black wires when you get the new one just put the red and black back on and the system will take about 24 hr's to see it and the bat on the key pad turn off

you can get the battery on line or 12-Volt/7Ah Lead-Acid Alarm Battery - RadioShack.com

Thank you. I just went to Radioshack and bought the battery and replaced it. Thank you for your help.
