External LED to show armed?

Sorry if this is a duplicate post - searching wasn't cooperating for me.

Anyone know of a way to put a LED or bulb in my garage to show when my Vista 20se is armed or not?

Reason: I want to add a keyfob for my wife so she can arm or disarm from the garage. But - I am not sure how she'll know if/when it arms since she will not be able to see a keypad or hear the exit timer.

Thoughts?
Aside from adding yet another keypad in the garage.

Thanks
jwicker

Yup, you use one of the panel's programmable outputs to trip a relay (or if you have a relay expander board, one of those), and use the output programming to follow the arming event.

The programming isn't tough.
