Safety Gear

This was an article in a email I saw at work.

At 4pm yesterday there was an accident. This accident was due to the lax way we are requireing our trades to use safety gear.

A hammer slipped out of the grip of a framer. It fell within the framing of the home then struck another worker in the face. The worker will now be only seeing out of one eye because his eye was put out by the claw of the hammer.

If safety glasses were worn in this incident. The worker would be seeing his 1 month old son with both eyes. We must enforce that hard hats and safety glasses be worn at all times in and around buildings under construction.

No Exceptions!

I think this gets the point across. This may be a freak accident but I wouldn't want it to happen to me
