How to clean outdoor windows

Wondering what tricks you all use for washing the exterior windows on your home...

There is a newer Windex outdoor window washing tool - the kind with a pad mounted on a pole for reaching the 2nd story windows. Has anyone used that?

If you have newer style double hung windows most will fold in. Older single hung..you will need an extension pole of some type. I tend to use the pole mounts from uger...they are a professional company with many different types of tools...toss it in your favorite search engine and should come up...a good sharp single edge razor blade works wonders on buildup as well.
