radiant heat

just finished installing my wood boiler. just wondering how long roughly it will take to bring my zones up to temp (new house sip walls)? my other question is about a mixing valve. If the water feeding it is too hot, will it still let water through, or will it slow things and possibly create air in the system? thank you
