floating method

If the floating method is not recommended for DIYer's, is it possible to glue nailing strips down and then nail the flooring (existing floor is square linoleum tile over concrete). If this is acceptable, what size of nailing strips, spacing, and gluing requirements would be suggested.

You could theoretically use furring strips, but why? It would be far easier to just glue. Be sure to thoroughly clean the existing resilient; clean any glue immediately before it dries with a cloth dampened with mineral spirits, and the buff off with a soft dry cloth. Walk the boards to be sure they are stuck down (be careful not to move the boards); and you are done. Keep traffic off for 24 hrs.

Sorry, I didn't see this one before. If you will call me so I can learn more about the circumstanses, I will do my best to help. Likely installation related (not covered by Warranty), but I will still do my best to help. Wellmade-866-582-0848
