I just picked up an all metal "Maxaw" Circular Saw made by the John Oster Company. It appears to be made in the Mid 1950's. The blade size is 6-3/8". Does anyone know if this size blade is still in production? and if not what oter size blades would fit my saw? Thanks for your input. -Nick

Might want to check out Porter Cable. They make a 6" blade for their model called a 'Saw Boss' that is 6". You would need to check the arbor size to see if it would fit.

Skil and Bosch also have 6.5" circular saws.

One that should be available locally is made by Vermont American - 6-1/2" with a variety of tooth sets...
