I have a RotopZip tool with less than an hours total use, however this unit is at least two years old, so the warranty is gone. The shaft lock will not hold the spindle shaft for loosening the collet nut, howerver it holds in the tightening direction. Obviously this makes the tool useless. Is this something that one can repair or replace? I have tried to email their customer service but have yet to receive a reply. This is a great little tool that has worked flawlessly until now. I would have expected it to last much longer than this considering the cost.

Thanks,

I also own a roto zip thats 2 years old and mine still works great, but anyway if mine were to develope a problem I would go to sears where I purchased it and ask thier customer service to help me, let them do the work, thats what they are there for. sears has been pretty good to me in the past. hope this helps
