I guess I need to rephrase my question: has anyone had experience with the Bonakemi water based product? How does it compare to oil based?

Oil-based polyurethane is smelly, tends to take longer to dry, and yellow with age, but it is touted to be more durable. Water-based finishes are popular because they tend not to yellow, are quicker to dry, and are less smelly.
