I have dark hardwood floors in my foyer and dining room. the house is only 3 yrs old. the person that we bought the house from appearantly used some type of wax on the floors. now everytime we walk on it, it leaves a footprint. we are trying not to have to strip the entire floor. i was wondering if anyone has ever had this happen and if so is there anything that we can use to take off the top coat of wax that is on there and still leave the factory coating on the floor?
