We are currently redoing our master bedroom in our basement. We have your typical basement window (plenty large enough for us to get out in a fire though) and I'm really not sure how to dress it. We are going with a contemporary style with sage green, taupe, cream and some creamy yellow. I'm not certain if I should use some of the plaid fabric in the above colors or a plain as we don't really want to call attention to the window but we do want it to blend/fit in nicely. Any suggestions? Your help is appreciated!
