i'm looking for recommendations for a GOOD table saw . . . contractor grade. is it possible to get one for around $1000??

i saw a RIDGID one for about $600 or so (maybe $800??), and it actually looked pretty nice.

i'm not in a big hurry to get one, but i'm just beginning to shop for when the time comes.

THANKS!!!

forgot something . . . i'm looking at FULL-SIZE table saws . . . i've got a delta benchtop (not bad), but that's what i'll be replacing.

You can most certainly get a lot of contractor saw for $1k.

Go to the Woodnet site and do the search feature:

arthropod98,

Replace your lil Delta with a Delta Contractor saw. You won't be disappointed. That's what I did.
Check out ToolCrib at Amazon.com

appreciate the responses!!

the more i use my little delta, the more i realize i want something of higher quality. it's been a great starter saw, but it's time for something better. i have been reading good things about the delta unisaw, so i'm leaning that way right now. of course, this won't be happening for a little while, but i'm just trying to plan ahead and make sure i get something NICE . . . thanks again!!
