Our ac unit is on and blows in the house very lightly during the day. It starts to get to a comfortable temp int he house around eight or nine o'clck at night..please give me some advice...sitting in oklahoma burning up. oh yea, i need to try and fix myself..not alot of money for repairs..thank you

thank you jonathinisaa..i do have a few questions.I didnt know there was more than one filter..where would i find the other(s). Also, what is a blower? and whereis the indoor coil. Thank you again.

If you have the not blowing forcefully enough problem and have pets, you'd be amazed at how much hair can actually accumulate around the evaporator coil.

Our unit is outside. I had to remove the cover on the side, get out the water hose, melt the ice and then discover the problem. The evaporator coil was clogged . I cleaned it up and it works like a champ.

I also did that on my husband's freightliner.

Be careful of the fins. They are sharp and easily damaged.

Also make sure the power is off to the unit.
