My Ac compressor low-pressure line is freezing up and causing low cooling in my house. I think my inside coils may be dirty interns causing my compressor line to freeze. I made an appointment with a service company and they said that i have two options (1) service the ac $79 (Never serviced before and 7 years old) or (2) they can diagnose the problem for $67. I went with option 1 sense they can determine a problem by just servicing.

What is included in a routine service call? Will they clean the inside coils or just change the filter.

a service call gets him there, diagnosed the problem, and gives a price to repair. do the maintenance, better deal since you will get the troubleshooting for the same price

The unit gets cleaned and if it doesn't solve the problem he most likely will tell you what you need if they are a reputable company.
