I just bought a house that was built in 1921. It has hardwood floors but they are all covered. In the dinning room the floors are covered with tile, and under the tile there is a very gross substance that reminds me of a tar/glue substance. It is very sticky! What is the best way to get this up? Should I sand it off, strip it off, or something else? Please help me!::confused:

Thanks,

Ron
