We are getting central air. The best place for the condenser would be under my deck which is a little over 4 feet above ground.the deck is large and has plenty of ventilation on the sides. My concern is the space above the condencer.
Is 4 feet enough ?

Well
4 ft is alot but that air will possibly hit the bottom of the deck and comeback down and cause your unit to run a higher head pressure than normal. If you want to really put it there have the tec. that puts it in make a elbow out of sheetmetal and put it on top to deflect the air a different way. I do it alot on boats and on offshore platforms and it works fine
