Sure you can.You do mean through the wall right?
I just installed a pakage terminal heat pump in the shop.It was a bit of a hassle cutting the hole in the stucco but it's framed in nicely now,slides in nice and easy.
If you were to just hang it on the wall it will be dumping as much if not more heat into the room as it would be removing and thats without considering the complications that will be caused from trying to cool all the heat being recirculated by the unit.
