Gas and Oil Home Heating Furnaces - HELP! new to ac problems!

OK this is the situation,
got the ol A/C out of the patio where its been stored for a year.
and put it in the window to find that .... its cool air but very low fan blowing it in on one vent and the other vent there is no cool or fan at all. Ive never cleaned one of these out except for the filter thing but nothing else. I have a feeling something else maybe really wrong. Any ideas? Please let me know we are heading for a week long heat wave.

WEll I waited a full day to get a responds and never got one from any one out here. I must say thanks though anyway even though you didnt care enough to drop me a line... simply becuase of reading all your last posts to help other people and not me I fixed my air conditioner with no ones help but my own and it didnt cost me a dime. GOsh who ever said the filter needed to be cleaned out was right. I took off front of the unit and it was caked with like a black tar on there and i took small tooth brush and brushed the whole things clean. After that the air blew like mad and hey guess what it was actually very cold to coming from both vents. Now I am ready for a heat wave and guess who i have to thank for you it. YOU and my self simply for listening to your past posts.
