my heating boiler HYDROTHERM MODEL HC125 CP,TYPE GAS NAT,DOE HEATING CAPACITY 98000,has been leaking from the overflow pipe.for the last two days water has been trickling out.
i swiched it off, from the emergency switch.though the rate of leaking has come down, but it has not stopped.the boiler is about 13 years old.

Replace it with one of the same size (BTU rating.) This valve is a safety device that will prevent a catastrophic steam explosion that can occur if the boiler malfunctions in certain ways. This valve is supposed to be piped to a location where boiling hot water or steam venting will not injure people or property.
