I have a Homelite (Simplicity) Tractor that I'm replacing the 10 HP Briggs and Stratton Engine. I need to remove the pulley's off drive shaft (under the tractor). The pulley's have a hex screw that I have removed...this screw went into the key on the shaft. What tool do I need to pull the pulley? Where can I find this tool? Thanks!

What you need is a 2 or 3 jaw pulley puller "either will work" and you can get them at any part's store.......... you wont need a expensive one for this task.

Autozone should have one for rent. If it is a stamped metal pulley, be careful, as a puller can bend one easily. Make sure there is not a bolt in the center of the pulley, in the hole where the end of the crankshaft is.
