I need advice on the type of blade I should get for a miter saw. It's a 10" Dewalt which came with a 40 tooth blade. I plan on doing trim and other finish work.Suggestions on brand? 80 tooth? Good buys? Thanks, Mike

Definetly go with a carbide tipped blade no matter what the number of teeth and generally speaking the more number of teeth the smoother the cut will be and also the more expensive the blade.

So for trim work and fine woodworking I would go with a 60 or 80 tooth blade.

I bought a Freud 60 tooth carbide tip (diablo) blade and have been happy with it.

Good luck
