I was watching if walls could talk last night on HGTV and they showed a bathroom wallpapered in newspapers. I would love to do this. We live in a small town and my kids have been in the papers numerous times for sports and school things and I have saved the old papers so I would LOVE to wallpaper their playhouse with these and other newspapers.
I need to know how I could do this without the newpaper print smearing. I figured I could probably just put it on with wallpaper glue but need to know what I could put over it so it will not tear or yellow and will look kind of glossy any clues??

This is pretty rough advice remembering what I heard awhile back but you can try a test run with this opinion and see how it goes. Buy a small package of wallpaper paste. Paste the area where the print is supposed to go. Let dry until it feels tacky to the touch. Place the newspaper onto the glue section and smooth it down with your hand or maybe a clean paint roller. Allow to dry 24 hours. Apply a coat of non-yellowing, clear polyurethane over the entire surface to seal and protect the newspaper. Best of luck with your project.
