I fertilized my corn seeds when i planted them. Now they are up and an inch high. When should I fertilize them again and then how often do i fertilize till fruition? I planted super sweet/ 88 days

According to my old Ortho book, the secret number is 8. Apply fertilizer when 8 inches and again when 18 inches.
