Hello All:

Problem:

NoSound,Video,HighVoltage

What Happened:

Power Transformor blew on the telephone pole outside our home. When Power was restored I tried to turn set on, It clicked on "No Led"Light's though I took out the Chassis and inspected it. No Burn's,Blown fuses "5 on the board" soldering is Good, Relay's good I'm suspecting the Flyback. Also Suspecting Coincendence due to the fact that nothing is Burned.

Any Ideas as to Possible Cause and what to check.
Or where I may Purchase Parts and or Chassis besides $$Pioneer$$

Pioneer SD-P5073
Chassis # ANP1686-C
FlyBack J1369C 31139

Hollywood, Start with checking the H.O.T. (Horizontal Output Transistor) to see if it's shorted, and check the power supply such as the voltage regulator transistor and associated componets. As far as parts for pioneer i'll check and post it for you. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Thank's FREDDY_G001
Hot's are fine, I was informed that the Gun's could be Fried is that possible without the board being hit first.

Holloywood, As you know when have a power surge the first thing to gets hit is the power supply. In this case the sweep/ power supply module. Componets to check are diodes, electrolytic capacitors, low value resistors(being used as safety fuses) switch mode xmfr etc. I did some checking on this television and a tech tip I found says to check for your 135volt B+ coming from the power supply section of the sweep/power supply module. If it's low or not there, replace the module according to the tech tip.

Hope this helps!

Thanks
