i am having a problem i ordered a switch for my kenmore window ac twice i recieved the wrong switch it does not look like the original switch that came out of the ac would anyone know how to wire the switch it is the one that turns on and contols the fan and ac turn on switch i have had no help from sears where i purchesed the swich would anyone have a wire diagram please i need help as like i said sears is useless and i refuse to pay 100 for a techn to come to my home this is riduculess as the switch cost only 22.00:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

The room air conditioner should have a wiring diagram.
The switch should also come with a wiring diagram.

An experienced tech can compare the two diagrams and look at the use of each wire and figure it out. If you make the wrong connections you could burn out the fan motor or the switch or both. Most techs have done that at one time or another as part of their experience. You may become experienced the hard way.

Taking the unit to a shop may cost a lot less than having a field service call. Ask around.
