Have a wooden step in patio room. I am putting olefin loop on it. How do I do the corners so the carpet doesn't look all bunched up there. Am stapling carpet. Tried wrapping it like a package, that doesn't work. Thanks

Sounds like a box step. Add a loop pile olefin to the mix, and you have a step that even the best professionals have trouble making look decent.
I say make your cuts to upholster it. Remove it off the step. Then latex seam seal all the edges, and handsew from the backing side. When done, turn it right side out. Without actually seeing the step. I can't tell you where to make your cuts. Even then it would be hard for me to type out hands on instructions.
