I am looking for any companies that produce a wooden deck board with a crowned top surface so that rain water falls off.

Dennis906,

Don't know that anyone makes a crowned deck board. It would make walking a bit precarious. You could make your own with 2 x6s and a table saw, but normally water will find it's way off a deck board if it is installed right side up, that is with the bark surface upward.

If water is an issue you may want to look at manufactured lumber such as Trex etc. If you are making a semi covered porch with T&G flooring.. use 1/4 per foot slope away from building and you will be fine. I have heard stories on both sides of the growth rings up or down... i put the "prettier" side up. Hope this helps--Josh
