I have a mulch question...
We are wanting to put mulch in an area that sits next to our foundation. The siding on our house starts roughly 14 inches from the top of the soil. The area at the soil level is a poured concrete basement. Is there any particular kind of mulch that would discourage termites and other unwanted insects? Are there other suggestions for this area besides mulch? I have read that cedar deters bugs, but is not especially good for the soil. Any suggestions and/or comments would be appreciated!
