Hi,
I have a synthetic stone surround on my prefab fireplace.Its gotten scratched and faded.Is there a safe paint I can use to spruce it up?It is plain black.

You can use high-temp flat black BBQ grill paint or woodstove paint safely.
Just tape and mask off the surrounding wall and floor before spraying it from the can.
