I am re-decorating a one bedroom apartment and I live on the beach. My full length sliding door/window and main entrance in the living room opens to the backyard/beach where we get alot of heavy ocean tradewinds. I would like to taper the drapes on the door with curtain rods at the top and bottom. The wall surrounding the door is brick. How do I apply the rods?

thank you

If you need to anchor the curtain rods to the brick wall, get a small masonry bit, drill into the mortar, tap in a lead anchor made for the purpose, and screw the rod holding screws into the lead anchors.
Good luck!
