I have a Harmon-Kardon reciever that is about 3 years old, model # AVR-20II. The left channel keeps fading in and out. Ive checked all connections. Its not the speaker, Ive tried 3 other speakers on it. Is this fixable, or should I just trash it and get a new one?

I think I would actually get this fixed. I would bet that the solder joints need to be cleaned up. Age, heat. Chemical reactions and the joints loosen or crack. Resolder with a 40 watt iron with 60/40 solder.
