My wallpaper is about 3 yrs old. During the 1st or 2nd year, I seam are perfectly right and I can hardly notice it. But after that I can slightly see the seam. I repaired it using the technique discussed in this forum. It helped but not totally. You see, after repairing it, sometimes I can see the seam sometimes not. Like in the morning the seam can be noticed. But at night, when the lights are on, the seam can not be notice. Also depending on my position, I can or can not see the seam. Like I am standing in a diagonal way, i can notice the seam. But stand in front of the seam, I can not see the seam. sometimes, I stand far away, the seam can be notice. I come closer, I can not see it. It seems the seam can be seen at some angle and can not be seen at another angle. What can I do about it. Thanks for your help

I assume you are talking about the seam repair technique discussed on my website. If so, then chalk or paints aren't working for you. It sounds like to me that there is a slight gap in your seam. Or it could be a slight overlap.

If there is an overlap (feel with your eyes closed) you will want to remedy these areas with a BRAND NEW razor knife. Snap a new blade with each cut.

In the end you will end up with some slight gaps. To fix these areas, there are some techniques for you to try:

Tint joint compound with powered chalk or paint. Apply to the seam with a plastic wallpaper smoother or plastic putty knife.

Tint white caulk with the same technique.

Either of these two methods will fill any gaps and make the seams less noticeable. You may also do color touch ups after performing theses methods if the color isn't correct. If the seams are noticeable due to a sheen along the seam line, wash this area thoroughly with water. If the sheen is still noticeable, this is due to the paper being overly sensitive during the installation process or could just be a manufacturer error. In either case, you will have to live with the shiny seams.
