The parge coat on the outside cement steps of my house has cracked and part has fallen off. Another place is loose. Can I pull off the loose parts and repair just those spots or does the whole staircase (6 steps) need to be done?

Can I do it with Quikcrete type stuff or is there a special parge coating material that should be used?
