We are moving into a house with grass-cloth wallpaper on a few walls. It's been painted numerous times. What's the best and easiest way to remove it? Will a paper tiger and Dif do the job?
If not, what will? Thanks, Roger K.

View the wallpaper stripping page on my site for instruction. The only addition I have to the advice is that you should attempt to remove the grass from the backing first. If you are lucky, it will peel off first. If it doesn't peel off, then you will need to wet the absolute death out of the wall. You need to get crazy with water and a sprayer is almost a must in this situation. The grasscloth will absorb most of the water, so you must wet, wet, wet, so it will reach the back which will allow you to pull it off the wall. Grasscloth can be real tough to strip, so take your time.
