The ceramic wall tiles in the bath/shower area were installed and they didn't space the tiles evenly. Some spaces are wide and some are thin. What can I do now to make them appear more even?

Once tiles are set, they are set.

using a straight edge as a guide, you may use a saw, grinder, router, or dremel, with the appropriate bit or blade, set to a depth less than the thickness of the tile to cut new grout lines that are even in width and will square up the tiles. Measure very carefully. Work slowly. Work SAFELY. Wear dust mask n goggles as cutting will be very dusty. Seal off work area from rest of house as dust will travel. Afterwards clean thoroughly and grout, using info from dyi web site. Other alternative would be to remove tile n find someone to do a professional job.
