I would like to know how much more labor time u have to allow to do a 45 degree herringbone pattern with mortared brick pavers on walkway,,versus running bond or basketweave. I know there will be a lot of cutting involved since it is the 45 degree pattern,,and was hoping someone on here could give be an idea . Thanks in advance,,,Freeman

I assume that you are using modular brick pavers. It will take no more effort to lay your pavers in mortar using a herringbone pattern than it would using a running bond or basketweave. However, you are correct about the cutting... but only at the edges of the walkway. But then again, curving and creating an interesting design is why you're using brick in that pattern in the first place... right?
